The Airport Operations Worker position is a full-time, non-exempt position at the Joplin Regional Airport. This role works under general supervision and primarily maintains and secures the equipment, facilities, and grounds at the Airport. On occasion, the position may also perform aircraft rescue and firefighting on the airfield and off-airfield property as required for a FAR Part 139, Class I, Commercial Service Regional Airport.
Ideal candidates will have at least one year proven experience in building and grounds maintenance of a large facility or plant and certification in basic first aid and CPR. Training is provided for aircraft rescue and firefighting.
Candidates must have a valid drivers license and are required to complete a post offer physical, a standard background check, criminal history, credit check and TSA background check and fingerprinting, and drug screen (including marijuana/THC).
