The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of operators to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. This role supports continuous improvement initiatives, fosters a positive team culture, and ensures alignment with plant goals. The supervisor will coordinate daily operations, communicate across departments, and drive performance through effective leadership and accountability.Key Responsibilities:Promote a safety-first culture by modeling safe behaviors, supporting safety programs, and addressing concerns proactively.Lead daily operations including action planning, downtime coordination, and cross-functional communication with maintenance, shipping, HR, and quality.Drive continuous improvement through Six Sigma initiatives, 5-S implementation, and cost-saving behaviors.Monitor and report performance metrics such as KPMs, quality, and production; conduct routine inspections and documentation reviews.Supervise and develop a team of up to 20 operators, managing schedules, performance, and timecards.Foster a positive team culture focused on safety, quality, and efficiency through coaching and team health meetings.Support plant-wide goals by aligning team efforts with operational objectives and participating in improvement initiatives.Requirements:Bachelor's degree required; preferred in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related field.Leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment is required.Six Sigma Certification preferred, or willingness to obtain within a designated timeframe.Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook).
