TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 9 months

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Must Pass Fingerprint Check
2. Must Pass Physical Capabilities Test
3. Knowledge of basic subjects taught in schools, including math, grammar, spelling, language and reading
4. Basic instructional methods and techniques
5. Correct usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation and vocabulary
6. Oral and written communication skills
7. Interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy
8. High School diploma or equivalent
9. One of the following:

60 College Credit hours: or
Associates Degree or Higher: or
Missouri Para Pro Assessment Passing Score (before 9/23/13) per DESE 6/22; or
Missouri Para Pro Assessment Passing Score (after 9/23/13) per DESE 6/22; or
Completed Missouri's 20 Hour online substitute training program

JOB SUMMARY

The Library Aide works with the librarian, assisting with day to day operations of the library.
