What You'll Do

The IT Administrative Specialist at Freeman Health System supports the Information Technology department by performing a broad range of administrative and clerical duties under the direction of IT leadership, including the CIO, CTO, and others. This role involves managing core business processes such as answering phones, assisting customers, handling data entry, maintaining office supply inventory, and organizing files. Additionally, the specialist coordinates logistics for meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements, contributing to the efficient operation of the IT department through both routine tasks and special projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for IT Leaders and Staff
  • Maintain and update office files, records, and databases
  • Prepare and distribute correspondence, reports, and other documents
  • Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including phone calls, emails, and mail
  • Manage office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Provide general support to visitors and employees
  • Develop and implement office procedures to improve efficiency
  • Organize and facilitate company events and meetings
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Monitor office expenditures and assist in budget preparation
  • Conduct research and compile data for various projects


Requirements
  • Minimum of a high school diploma
  • Previous clerical experience required
