We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-driven Permanent Territory Sales Manager to join our expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual with a passion for sales, who is looking to excel in a challenging and rewarding environment. This role will be responsible for managing and growing the business within existing accounts, generating new leads, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will be a natural 'hunter', utilizing their exceptional prospecting and cold calling skills to drive B2B sales and achieve outstanding results.
Responsibilities
As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for
- Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in the assigned territory
- Actively seeking out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media
- Conducting research to identify potential prospects and market trends
- Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships
- Conducting regular sales presentations to promote our product range and services
- Negotiating contracts and closing agreements to achieve sales targets
- Utilizing Salesforce and CRM systems to effectively manage your sales pipeline and customer data
- Providing solutions to any customer service or quality issues that arise
- Determining efficient shipping methods to ensure timely delivery of our products
- Preparing and submitting detailed proposals and quotes to potential clients
- Regularly reviewing sales performance and meeting or exceeding established sales targets
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the Territory Sales Manager role should possess the following
- A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, however, we will consider candidates with comparable industry experience
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar B2B industrial sales role
- 2+ years of sales experience in the UN packaging industry is preferred
- Proven track record in prospecting, cold calling, and territory management
- Exceptional outside sales and lead generation skills
- Experience in using Salesforce and CRM systems
- Advanced verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure
- Strong decision-making and leadership abilities
- Excellent negotiation and networking skills
- A passion for results and a drive to exceed expectations
- Ability to travel as needed within the assigned territory.
