Role Summary
The Director, Client Acquisition is responsible for revenue growth in target accounts, building long-term client value through trusted relationships, contributing to the P&L, and developing new business within target regions. The role involves leading a sales team promoting ENGIE's sustainability and resource solutions.
Primary Responsibilities
- Build and lead a high-performing sales team, setting and achieving sales quotas.
- Understand and communicate ENGIE Impact and Group capabilities and offerings.
- Develop sales strategies and plans, including 12-month sales plans and 30/60/90-day activities.
- Report on sales pipeline, forecasts, and performance metrics.
- Participate in contract negotiations and develop account growth strategies.
- Develop and execute quarterly business reviews.
- Establish new business opportunities through networking and client engagement.
First Six Months Goals
- Learn the business, develop understanding of client experience and industry.
- Implement foundational operating rhythms and performance metrics.
- Build relationships with leadership and identify quick wins.
Long-term Objectives
- Develop and implement value creation strategies.
- Lead execution of territory and reselling strategies.
- Re-evaluate sales plans to meet or exceed revenue goals.
Leadership Expectations
- Partner with internal teams to understand client needs and develop solutions.
- Provide strategic direction on technology requirements.
- Leverage data for process re-engineering and sales ecosystem improvements.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Engineering, Sustainability, Business Management, or related fields.
- 15+ years of sales experience with large portfolios.
- 7+ years in energy or sustainability services, high-tech, or BPO sectors.
- Solution selling and C-level engagement experience.
- Domain expertise in sectors like Retail, Industrial, Healthcare, etc.

- Strategic business development and operational leadership.
- Results-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Additional Information
Work schedule varies; travel up to 50% may be required. Physical activities include sitting, standing, lifting up to 15 pounds, and operating a computer. ENGIE is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The salary range is $128,000-$170,000, with comprehensive benefits.
